In this little book something about the substance of Guizhou came clear. Probably from 2008 or so. See the whole book in the BOOK page above. Sorry about all the Buy Buy Send Buttons everywhere.
The cover artwork is intended to be a double view into heaven above and earth below. The front cover depicts the death scene of a martyr–possibly the last one to make the fellowship of martyrs complete. The back cover will show the events simultaneously conspiring in heaven, and based on John’s vision in Revelation 6:9-11.
“When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. They cried out with a loud voice, O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth? Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.”

On a recent trip to the MFA, was enraptured by this sculpture in the main gate…
